Gov. Abbott appoints former TBA Chairman David Osborn to Finance Commission of Texas

Texas Governor Greg Abbott appointed TBA’s Immediate Past Chairman David Osborn, President and CEO of WestStar Bank in El Paso to the Finance Commission of Texas for a term set to expire on February 1, 2030. The Commission is the governing body of the state’s banking, savings and loan, and consumer credit agencies. Congratulations to Chairman Osborn, we know his leadership will add significant value to the state and industry.
TBA also congratulates Graham Savings and Loan SSB CEO Troy Lambden on his appointment representing the interests of state savings banks, while Kathleen Fields has been appointed to serve in the certified public accounting role previously held by our late friend Debbie Scanlon.
