FOMC cuts rates once again before 2025

The Federal Open Market Committee cut the federal funds rate by 25 basis points to 4.25%- 4.5%. This is the third cut of the year and comes the week before the holidays.

In November, the FOMC voted to lower the target range by 25 basis points, following a 50-basis-point reduction in September. See more details here.
