This enhanced version of our widely recognized, annual school provides an introduction to all facets of trust. The curriculum has been updated to address the continuing evolution of industry services and to reflect a broader spectrum of CTFA topics. This first year of the two year program will: establish a solid foundation of the functional areas of trust; provide essential requirements of state and federal law to administer trust accounts; identify key considerations for estate planning and the management of tax issues; and offer insight for all areas of asset management. As additional enhancements, overnight accommodations will be provided at a hotel instead of campus dormitories, and the event will be held concurrent with Graduate Trust School to enable more valuable networking and information-sharing with other trust professionals.
This enhanced version of our Graduate Trust School is a comprehensive, intermediate course designed to provide Trust School graduates a logical next step in their professional development and to provide other wealth management and trust professionals valuable continuing education in a range of fiduciary issues, planning, reducing liability and maximizing performance. The new curriculum for the annual event addresses the continuing evolution of industry services and reflects a broader spectrum of CTFA topics. Students who successfully complete Trust School, Graduate Trust School and related assignments can arrange to sit for the CTFA exam*, if desired, at the conclusion of Graduate Trust School.
